Middle East

Where are we headed now? I don't see a clear path for my future and certainly not for our Country's future. It's pretty much up in the air at the moment due to the ruckus overseas. Uprisings started in Egypt and spread over to other countries. I for one am a tad bit scared. These people are crazy, insane lunatics and that's putting it lightly. They kill themselves all in the name of Allah to try to kill other people (infadels). What about that doesn't make them wacko?

Our gas prices are fixing to soar over here, yet we still will not drill on our own land and stop being dependent on the Middle Eastern countries. When will it ever make sense to our "oh so smart" leaders that we need to tap into our own resources? Certainly not with this administration. It is apparent that they want to become communists or something of that nature. They are turning our beautiful USA into something most of us have never seen. Unless you were alive during the Great Depression or the riots of the 60's, you haven't seen anything yet. Food, clothing and things of that nature are going to costs so much that we will be scrounging up change to make it in this world. Sad reality, a lot of us are already doing that and nothing drastic has happened yet.

On another note, one of the fearless leaders of the Muslim Brotherhood (according to the media, doesnt exist) is making his way over to the US tomorrow to speak to his followers. Why are we letting him into our country? Why? Our administrators will wish they hadn't when things start getting out of hand with the people who want Sharia Law. They have organizations in EVERY state in the US. Some contain more than one. One is right here in Tulsa. I would really love to find a hole to hide in for the next year.

Some folks would like to believe that nothing bad is ever going to happen and they are going to go right along living their merry little lives until it comes to a screeching hault, at which time they will find themselves unprepared. Watch the news people! Not just one side of the coin either. Watch multiple channels, listen to multiple stations, read multiple articles. Gather as much information as possible and make good decisions for you and your family.

I'm sure no one out there is reading this, but just in case someone is out there reading this...be prepared. It's better to be prepared than to be caught in a tough situation with nowhere to go when times get tough.

My husband and I were set to buy new furniture for our living room with our tax return. Instead, we've decided to pay off all of the debts we can with it and start saving as much as possible just in case. And guess what? If everything turns out to be okay, we'll have that money for whatever we choose.
