Middle East

Where are we headed now? I don't see a clear path for my future and certainly not for our Country's future. It's pretty much up in the air at the moment due to the ruckus overseas. Uprisings started in Egypt and spread over to other countries. I for one am a tad bit scared. These people are crazy, insane lunatics and that's putting it lightly. They kill themselves all in the name of Allah to try to kill other people (infadels). What about that doesn't make them wacko?

Our gas prices are fixing to soar over here, yet we still will not drill on our own land and stop being dependent on the Middle Eastern countries. When will it ever make sense to our "oh so smart" leaders that we need to tap into our own resources? Certainly not with this administration. It is apparent that they want to become communists or something of that nature. They are turning our beautiful USA into something most of us have never seen. Unless you were alive during the Great Depression or the riots of the 60's, you haven't seen anything yet. Food, clothing and things of that nature are going to costs so much that we will be scrounging up change to make it in this world. Sad reality, a lot of us are already doing that and nothing drastic has happened yet.

On another note, one of the fearless leaders of the Muslim Brotherhood (according to the media, doesnt exist) is making his way over to the US tomorrow to speak to his followers. Why are we letting him into our country? Why? Our administrators will wish they hadn't when things start getting out of hand with the people who want Sharia Law. They have organizations in EVERY state in the US. Some contain more than one. One is right here in Tulsa. I would really love to find a hole to hide in for the next year.

Some folks would like to believe that nothing bad is ever going to happen and they are going to go right along living their merry little lives until it comes to a screeching hault, at which time they will find themselves unprepared. Watch the news people! Not just one side of the coin either. Watch multiple channels, listen to multiple stations, read multiple articles. Gather as much information as possible and make good decisions for you and your family.

I'm sure no one out there is reading this, but just in case someone is out there reading this...be prepared. It's better to be prepared than to be caught in a tough situation with nowhere to go when times get tough.

My husband and I were set to buy new furniture for our living room with our tax return. Instead, we've decided to pay off all of the debts we can with it and start saving as much as possible just in case. And guess what? If everything turns out to be okay, we'll have that money for whatever we choose.

Whatever flies off my fingers....

Just a rant day.

Firstly, Obama goes on The View. Hmmmmmmmmmm, yeah, mmmmkay. Let's uphold that wonderful "Hollywood" image you were elected for and go chum it up with your boosom buddies, Whoopi and Joy. Poor Elisabeth had to sit and look like she gave a rats patootie that you were there or that you had anything worth listening to. Weren't you invited to speak at the Boy Scouts of America Jamboree that is tradition for the President to do every four years? I guess The View was more important since you were talking about LAST WEEKS news that no one cares about anymore (Shirley Sherrod). Well, I guess if you were speaking and any of my sons were supposed to go, I would keep them out of the speech anyway. I don't want their brains clogged up with progressive thinking and ideals. It's not the point, however giving encouragement for our young boys to become respectable young men is the point of the speech.

Second rant - Some jackass wrote a story on yahoo.com today about how sad it is that *immigrants* (fails to mention illegal) are crossing the border through the most dangerous part of the desert and are dying of hyperthermia/heat strokes. He starts the story off by saying that the boy was handsome with black hair, dark eyes, muscular build and must have a roman nose. So you're trying to reel me in by giving me personal information or trying to get me to picture the young man??? NO, I'm not falling for that. HE WAS BREAKING INTO OUR COUNTRY WITH HIS FATHER! They are/were both adults and knew better. Then to read down and find out that there's an organization that goes and lines the desert to hand out food and water so that they don't get dehydrated crossing into our country illegaly. Are you kidding me? Really, you've got to be kidding me. That's like aiding and abetting a fugitive in a way right? "Here, I want to help you get into our country safely so you can steal from our taxpayers". WHERE ARE YOU FEDERAL GOVT????? Oh yeah, silly me. I totally forgot that they just simply don't think it's a problem and it doesn't matter what our laws are or what our Constitution says. Oh and let us not forget that they did an autopsy with your money on this boy and also kept him in a refridgerated vehicle. P.S., he's not the only one.

If you are Hispanic and are in opposition of the immigration law down in Arizona, then stop waving your Mexican flags! If you want to live here and be considered American, then wave the AMERICAN flag!!!!!!!!!!!!! I don't see Mexico paying your hospital bills or for anything else. Show some respect or go back to Mexico and wave that flag with pride there. We want you here, just legally and you better come willing to become an American and conform to the American way. We/I am not going to accomidate you because you don't feel like you need to learn English.

Bye bye Birdie...I mean Michelle, staff and hoard of friends. Oh yes, she's being whisked away to beautiful Spain. They've rented out 30 rooms at a not-so-shabby hotel. Don't worry we, the taxpayer, aren't paying for the "whole" vacation. Vacation? To Spain? Man, that's fancy. I wish my family could get the time off for a holiday like that. Us low-lifes have to stay here and keep paying our taxes so you can go anywhere anytime. I'm not saying that the President and his family don't deserve a vacation here and there but this is the third in two months. Granted Mr. Obama isn't going, I think Michelle could find something better to do for the country than vacation on our dime like read the Constitution and about our forefathers. Actually, just don't go on vacation. I couldn't care less if you didn't try to do anything for our country because it would probably be the complete and utterly wrong thing(s) anyway. Just sit there and look pretty with those arms of yours.

I know, it seems like all I do is complain. There are just a ton of issues right now that are on my mind and I feel I need to voice my opinions on them.

We live in the BEST nation in the world and it's headed straight for the crapper. Land of the free and home of the brave. Not for long. It's going to be Land of the down-trodden and opressed.

Racism

Today I'd like to address "racism". I am not a racist but have been called such because I don't agree with Obama's policies, values (if he has such), etc. Let me tell you something people.....HE'S HALF WHITE (and was raised partially by his white grandparents and white mother). I don't know why being half of anything makes you whole of another race. I don't get it and I never will. My sons half-sister is half Hispanic and 13. She says, "I hate my school because all of those stupid little white girls are so snotty". Firstly, YOU'RE HALF WHITE AND LIVE WITH YOUR WHITE MOTHER....hello people. Gosh that drives me nuts. Secondly, there are snotty little girls of every race. That's just girls for ya.

It's always the race card though when a white or light skinned person disagrees with a darker skinned person. Nine times out of ten they are really disagreeing because they genuinely disagree with the words that are exiting your mouth. Maybe that one percent disagrees because of race or some other factor but it is generally not about race.

Here's another thing, a New Black Panther Party member can say ugly things about wanting to kill white babies and white policemen but is not considered a racist????? Really? Explain that to me. I think racist is hating/judging someone for their race, religion, sexual orientation or other factor not just a white person hating on a black person.

Nothing irritates me more than being thrown into the firey pit of racism by some jerk who doesn't like what I have to say. Just like my statements yesterday about illegal immigrants. My liberal facebook friends have called me racist for expressing my views on following the law. No, it's nothing against immigrants....just be legal. That's all. The funny thing is, when I lived in a bigger town when I was little, most of my friends were not white. Right now, I would say that the majority are white but that's just because that's who I've met here and I haven't lived at my current location very long. However, all of my neighbors are of different ethnicity and I've yet to have a conflict with any of them. They are all very nice people. I hope they think the same of me.

In any case, if you disagree, please explain. I'd love to hear your opinion.

Borders: Do they exist?

I wonder, do our borders really exist? If so, why do we have them?

This isn't only about our border with Mexico, although it is a huge problem, it is about all illegal immigrants invading our Country. We love immigrants. Love them. Isn't that what the USA is made of? Yes, I believe so. Unless you are a Native American Indian, your ancestors are from another country. We want them here and please do come, but only through the front door. I'm sorry that it might take a while. Really, I am. I understand that there are quite a few countries with unlivable circumstances, i.e. war or under-/undeveloped governments. Just like we all have to wait our turn in line in our lifetimes, there is a line to get into the USA and there is also protocol to follow as in any procedure.

The hard truth is that we need to secure our Mexican border quickly. Not only are Al Qaeda members coming through that border, there are cities and towns being taken over or their residents are living under constant watch so they don't get kidnapped or killed by drug cartels. The underground tunnel systems have to be plugged up. Worried about getting a cap on that oil spill??? Not anymore, it's been taken care of. Let's get this other HUGE problem taken care of!

These residents should not be living that way nor should they have to vacate the area. That is their home and THEY have the right to be there.

It seems that the US Govt. is so worried about converting all of our belief systems over to a progressive way of thinking than they are about actually taking care of it's citizens. The REAL citizens. It is rumored that without all of these illegal immigrants, there would be no one to cook our restaurant food, mow our lawns, roof our houses, build our streets, sweep our floors. That sounds a little ridiculous to me considering my neighbor is a roofer and lawnmower but is a legal citizen himself and only hires legals. With so many unemployed right now, I think we could find enough people to fill the shoes of the so-called "unwanted jobs".

I'm often asked, "Would you do their job?". Damn right I would. Especially if I were desperate. I would be first in line. I would not be taking money from the Govt. and sitting on my butt for months on end. Now, do not take that out of context and get lead to believe that I am knocking those taking unemployment until they find new jobs. I am NOT saying that at all. What I am saying is that sometimes we have to change our lifestyles for a while. Sell your house, your cars (if you can) and work your way back up. It happened once, it can happen again. That is the beauty of living here. You are NOT held down by your govt. (yet) and you can rise again. There is nothing to be ashamed of. Humility is a wonderful thing. It makes you humble and enjoy/love the real things in life.

I'm still trying to work my way up the first time. If I get knocked down, I'll try again. Will I be mad, angry or upset? Sure, I will but I don't want to get discouraged.

Also, if all of the illegal immigrants were not here, maybe we wouldn't have as many families on welfare.....maybe though. It all depends on how the person is. Most entitled people would not give that up. Just like the lady who was interviewed after Obama was elected:

Reporter: "What's going to change now that Obama is President?"

Interviewee: "I'm not gonna have to pay my mortgage, my car payment or for anything again!"

I'm thinking, "Where in the world does this lady think that money is going to come from? Oh, me, that's who!" Ridiculous that people think that way. And how is that working out for her???? Probably not so well. She's either still paying her bills or has been kicked to the curb.

A sense of entitlement will get you nowhere. A sense of good work ethic and faith in the Lord above, however, will get you to where you want to be or at least close.

That is my rant for the day. I think I covered a few topics when I really started to cover only one but I think they are intertwined
